Golf
Following the success of several informal golf days last year, we have now formed the Pagham Yacht Club Golf Society. Our first Society golf day was on Saturday 26 March and further events have followed. We plan to organise Golf Society days on a regular basis.
The annual PYC Open Championship was held on August 4, during Sea Week. This Year's renewal was held at the Goodwood course, with Mark Fisher triumphing as Open Champion, in a very tight finish.
All PYC club members with an interest in golf are welcome to join in. A small ‘hard core’ of members play together every week and some have low handicaps, but some of our golfers only play occasionally… and struggle to play to a 36 handicap!
