Programme |
 |
|
The angling programme caters mainly for boat anglers,
but it is not necessary to own your own boat as members
are always looking for crew. Angling competitions are
ongoing throughout the season and include beach
competitions, charter trips and an annual away trip.
Junior anglers are particularly welcome. |
Launching
The launching facilities are ideal for boats up to 16ft. with
trailers adapted to suit a shingle beach. Rubber mats are
available for launching and 3 winches available for recovery.
Species Fished |
 |
|
There is an excellent variety of fish caught within a 2-mile radius. These include, Bass, Skate, Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Smooth hound, Bream and Wrasse
In 2007 despite the lack of summer, our anglers caught in excess of 1600 fish covering charter, dinghy and beach fishing.
In all there were 37 different species caught ranging from the usual rays, bass, pout and dog fish to the odd variety of tompot blenny, goldsinney and rockcook wrasse and grey gurnard. |
Affiliations
The club is affiliated to the NFSA and also the British Conger
Club.
