Sailing in Pagham

At Pagham Yacht Club we enjoy one of the finest stretches of open water sailing on this part of the South Coast. We have the superb advantage of being sheltered by Selsey Bill, which allows us to launch at any state of the tide.
We have a mixed fleet, including mono and multi hull, and we sail from March to October on Sundays and May to August on Wednesday evenings. The sailing program offers a variety of series races, one-off trophy races and cruises.
As a family club, we encourage and support all abilities of any age, from youth to adult. Most sailing members have their own dinghies, which may be stored at the club boat park, but there are also a number of club dinghies available for use by members, currently including a Wayfarer (suitable for family sailing), two lasers and several Toppers (suitable for beginners).
A number of special events are arranged during the club's Sea Week, at the beginning of August, including our “picnic cruise” and fun competitions versus the anglers! We also sail our “Crab and Lobster cruise” once a year, through the beautiful Pagham Harbour nature reserve.
We are affiliated to the RYA.
