Social Events at Pagham Yacht Club

We are a family club with social activities for all ages and interests. These include live music in the club, pool and darts competitions and a thriving golf society. There are disabled access and facilities, free car parking in our own car park and a bus route nearby if you want to take a tot or two!

The highlight of our social calendar was Sea Week, in the first week of August, with activities on the water during the day and social events every evening. With entertainments including the annual President's quiz, Bingo night, Moroccan night, Commodore's wine & cheese,  live music both Saturday evenings and BBQs both Sundays, there was entertainment for all. Other events in 2011 have included live music evenings and several special events, including Burns Supper, Valentines Night (fancy dress), St Georges Day supper and Royal Wedding celebrations & supper (by our Youth members). Looking forward, our Christmas and New Year celebrations will include Commodore's Tot on Christmas Day and our traditional New Year’s Eve party.

Friday evenings and after lunch drinks on Sundays are very popular times at the clubhouse, with drinks taken on our patio by the beach when the sun shines. A summer evening at Pagham Yacht Club is hard to beat!

We have a fully licensed bar with low-priced drinks, wonderful sea views and direct access to the beach. We have a good selection of beers, including real ales, and this year we have upgraded all of our house spirits to top brands. Following a wine tasting in May, new House and Premium white wines have been introduced. Other popular new lines in the bar have included VSOP cognac, "guest" malt whiskies, Black Grouse house whisky and Plymouth Gin. Sea Week specials included traditional Pimms and Hendricks Gin & Tonic, both with cucumber (no more jokes please!).

We also have a galley where you can buy home-made rolls and sandwiches, tea and coffee.
